Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how ValueAssist Capital collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you visit our website, contact us, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text.
Last updated October 5, 2026
Information we collect
We may collect information that you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, business or property information, financing objectives, and supporting documents. When you communicate with us or make communication choices through a form, we may also retain message content, consent status, communication preferences, the date and source of consent, and the version of the disclosure presented to you. We may also receive basic technical information generated when you use the website, such as browser type, device information, referring pages, and server logs.
If you schedule a meeting through Calendly, submit information through a form or portal, or communicate through another service, that provider may collect and process information under its own privacy policy.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, assess potential financing paths, request or review documents, communicate about an active financing matter, prepare a financing request for potential lender review, maintain business records, protect our services, and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Submitting information does not guarantee financing, approval, or placement with a funding source.
Use of AI-assisted tools
We may use artificial intelligence and other technology-assisted tools to support our advisory and operational work. These tools may assist with analyzing a company’s financial performance, organizing and summarizing information, preparing or refining a financing file before lender submission, drafting internal materials or communications, and completing routine administrative tasks.
AI-assisted tools supplement rather than replace our professional judgment. We seek to review material outputs before relying on them or sharing them with a lender or other financing partner.
When selecting and using these tools, we make reasonable efforts to use reputable paid or business-grade services where appropriate, review available privacy and security representations, apply available privacy controls, and limit the information provided to what is reasonably necessary for the task. When available, we may use settings or service features designed to limit retention, model training, or other secondary use of submitted information. AI and technology providers may process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies, and no third-party system can be guaranteed to be entirely risk-free.
Mobile information and SMS consent
We use text messaging for one-to-one, conversational communications such as responding to an inquiry, scheduling, reminders, financing updates, and document-related updates. You may consent by initiating a text to our published business number or, when offered, by voluntarily selecting a separate unchecked SMS-consent box on a website or application form.
Transactional or conversational SMS consent does not enroll you in unrelated promotional messaging. If we later offer optional marketing communications, we will request separate consent appropriate to that communication.
Mobile numbers, text-message originator opt-in data, and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Such information may be provided to communications service providers solely as necessary to deliver messages, maintain the service, and support legal or carrier compliance.
For message terms and opt-out instructions, see our Terms & SMS Policy.
Security and confidentiality
We take personal, financial, and confidential business information seriously. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, limit access to those with a legitimate need, and reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
We use our best efforts to handle information carefully when transmitting it to prospective lenders, funding partners, and service providers, including using reputable platforms and secure delivery methods when reasonably available. However, no method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information retention
We retain information only for as long as we reasonably believe it remains useful or necessary to evaluate or support a financing request, provide services, maintain business and transaction records, follow up on a matter, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal and regulatory obligations.
Because financing matters vary, we do not currently use one fixed retention period for every file. Documents may remain in Google Drive, Dropbox, email, or other business systems while a matter is active, may reasonably require follow-up, or remains operationally relevant. Our policy is to delete or securely dispose of financing-request files when they are no longer reasonably needed or have become substantially outdated, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations, technical limitations, and ordinary backup practices.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or correct your contact information. You may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact us to request that we stop a particular type of communication, subject to records we must retain for legal or business purposes.
Policy updates
We may revise this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
